White Kunzea is a fragrant tiny leaf with hints of eucalyptus and citrus. Kunzea comes from Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast and makes a wonderfully aromatic tea when brewed. It grows wild and abundant in Freycinet and towards the northeast. White Kunzea pairs well with native pepper berry and wattleseed.
Flavour Notes:
A flavourful herb with a similar flavour to rosemary, Kunzea Leaves have a honey-like aroma with touches of eucalyptus and citrus. With the aromatics of eucalyptus and citrus and hint of sweet honey flavour, Dried Kunzea Leaves make an excellent addition to both sweet and savoury dishes.
Culinary Notes:
Kunzea can be used as an Australian seasoning for sweet and savoury dishes. With hints of citrus and eucalyptus, White Kunzea also makes a beautiful tea when brewed in warm water. Other names are Tasmania Kunzea, Kunzea Ambigua.
