Mustard Seeds Yellow

Yellow mustard seeds are more mild and less pungent than the black variety. They release an earthy aroma when cooked and a savoury and tangy taste. Yellow seeds are commonly used in Western cuisines due to its more subtle flavour and appearance. They are key ingredient in the Indian blend Panch Phora.

Method
Sauté mustard seeds, spice rub onion and garlic with butter in sauce pan. 5min till translucent
Add Worcestershire, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, stock or juices from the meat, brown sugar and water to create a thick chunky sauce
Let simmer for 10 min and then you can serve or place in a food processor for a Smokey silky rich sauce. This sauce can be frozen and used for any cooked meats
