The love this recipe

We’ve all come across the trend of bliss balls lately and often they can be unhealthy sugar-packed balls disguised as healthy snacks.

These Apricot bliss balls are the real deal and so easy to make yourself at home. Packed full of healthy fats from nuts, protein, fiber, and magnesium from Chia Seeds, and healthy carbohydrates and calcium from Poppy Seeds; you can know you’ll be feeding your body the fuel it needs to go and go.

The base of these balls are fibre-rich oats that are slow burning and keep you feeling fuller for longer all combined with natural maple syrup for a little added sweetness.

The perfect afternoon pick-me-up for that 3:30 slump or a little snack for the kid's lunchbox, they’ll never know these sweet treats are healthy!

Directions

  1. Place half of the dried apricots along with the rolled oats, peanut butter, chia seeds and maple syrup into a food process and blend until you have a mix that is a similar size to breadcrumbs.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse on high until all the ingredients are incorporated and the nuts are roughly chopped.
  3. Make the mixture into balls using your hand, firmly pressing them together before placing them into an airtight container and storing in the fridge for up to a week.
