- 5 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1 tsp The Spice People’s Chillies Crushed
- 1/2 tsp The Spice People’s Ground Cumin
- 1/2 tsp The Spice People’s Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp The Spice People’s Asafoetida Powder
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp The Spice People’s Garam Masala
- 1 cup rice
- 1 bunch coriander
- 1 packet papadums
- oil for frying
