Hibiscus is a small flowering plant which grows in tropical regions. The flowers are colourful and trumpet shaped. Dried petals are bright pink and have a sweet and pomegranate-like flavour. Hibiscus flowers have been treasured for centuries across cultures from Africa to the Middle East and Asia for their vibrant colour, tart flavour, and natural health benefits. Known for its deep crimson petals, hibiscus has traditionally been used in teas, infusions, and culinary creations to add both beauty and a refreshing, tangy note.
