Light, fragrant, and comforting – the perfect afternoon treat for Mum.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan-forced). Grease a 20cm round cake tin.
  2. In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  3. Fold in flour, cinnamon, salt, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour into tin and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  5. While warm, brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
