Product description

Vadouvan is the French version of a curry. It uses all the traditional Indian spices such as  turmeric, curry leaves, fenugreek, cumin, cloves and cardamom, it is given a fresh twist with the addition of members the Allium family such as shallots, onions and garlic, which sweetens and softens the dish. The spices are subtle enough for the most delicate of vegetables but robust enough for any meat.

    Hi Liz

Thought I would let you know that I made the most flavoursome slow cook goat curry with your wonderful Vadouvan French Curry blend. I usually use my own mix of spices but the Vadouvan blend was absolutely delicious. I look forward to using it with many other meat cuts as well as a favourite vegetarian curry dish.

Hi Spice People, just want to say Thankyou for your prompt and very
efficient service. Recently I had dinner at a fabulous restaurant in
Launceston, Tasmania called ‘Stillwater’ where I had a delicious meal:
market fish, vadouvan Cauliflower, brik pastry with brown butter
hollandaise. I didn’t even know what vadouvan was, or what the taste
might be, but it was heavenly. I was determined to use this, so a google
search led me to your website where I quickly found vadouvan, a great
description, and ordered some. Joy! I have since made a delicious
cauliflower purée with vadouvan, and a very old Fashioned ‘coronation
chicken’ using vadouvan. Wow! Everyone in the family just loved the
flavour. It is now my go to curry powder. Thank you for your site and
for the very interesting content to be found within. From an extremely
    happy customer
